About the Lab
The Science of Impression.
AiiP Lab is a research laboratory dedicated to the science of impression. We investigate how people perceive the world and form impressions and evaluations based on sensory information.
AiiP stands for Aesthetics, Interpersonal Impression, and Perception.
Using cognitive science experiments, audio/image analysis, and statistical and mathematical methods, we aim to elucidate the mechanisms of perception, impression, and sensibility from multiple perspectives, with the goal of real-world applications.
